USED AND DUMPED

Out of concern for the women folks, Joseph Olabisi, a student of Arts and Design department of Lagos State University of Science and Technology, formerly Laspotech, has creatively sent a message to the society using an aesthetic piece of art, which he named, "Used and dumped"
This solo, feminine-structured guitar of moral value is attention driving with lot of curiosity.
According to the artist, he spent about two hundred and fifty thousand naira in making the artwork and it worths more than money to him.
Speaking with our correspondent, Olabisi expressed the message behind the work of art as an interpretation of what happens to those he described as "the meet, greet, smile and have sex generation.
"Don't let them be playing you like guitar and dump when they are tired of playing, otherwise you run the risk of feeling used and dumped like a new guitar" He said.
Speaking on some of the materials used, which he referred to them as "from trash to treasure" as they are discarded materials. He mentioned that other materials used are; washer, Metal sheets, Quarter rods, Rods 10mm, Electrodes, Cutting discs, Sandpaper, Boris, and Painting.
