TEENAGE BROTHERS DOCKED OVER ALLEGED RAPE OF MINOR.

Two brothers were arraigned before an Ikorodu magistrate court for allegedly raping a 13 year old girl.

The brothers, Solomon Nweze,18years and Solomon Swaruna,20years were arraigned on a three-count charge of sexual inducement, defilement and rape.

During the hearing, the Investigating Police Officer Inspector Adeshina Olamilekan said the defendants lured the victim (name withheld) on her way back from school to their residence at ojokoro village, Agric Ikorodu, Lagos State where they forcefully had carnal knowledge of her in turns.

He said The unlawful carnal knowledge of a minor is contrary to and punishable under the criminal law of Lagos State, Nigeria 2015.

The defendants however pleaded not guilty,stressing that the victim was just a familiar face in the neighborhood.

The chief Magistrate, P.A Osuji ordered the defendants be remanded in prison custody pending further investigation.

The case was adjourned until April 16,2023.
